During the summer we all spend a lot more time outdoors enjoying the British countryside or beaches. As the UK weather isn’t always the most predictable, it’s important to choose outdoor clothing that is adaptable as well as fashionable.
The most essential item when heading out for the day is a lightweight rain jacket. Some of the brands available pack away into a very small pocket and can be clipped to a belt or easily carried in a bag to be brought out quickly if you’re caught in a summer downpour. Another thing to consider is the types of jackets which have a fleece zipped inside. Both the fleece and the jacket can be worn separately or used together when it is colder. For the beach, get some of the waterproof or outdoor trousers which can be zipped off at the knees to allow you to walk on the sand or in the water without getting soaked. These sorts of trousers are great for children and are available in a huge range of bright colours and different designs. Most of the outdoor clothing brands also do a full range of t-shirts and fashion clothing, making it easy to coordinate your look.
